I hear the gentle flow of waves; the sea reaches the shore…
And the sweet summer breeze shields my innermost soul.
I reflect beyond life, I see myself wander in paradise
I see golden hand reaching out, leading me towards serenity.
There I see a child’s smile, so sweet, so pure, and so bright
I realize, ahh….it’s mine, it’s mine!
And when the waves of the calm sea softly touched my feet
And when I finally smelled the sweet breeze of misty air
I told myself- life is love, unending gratitude.
As I opened my eyes, thoughts keep flashing back
I simply smile as I look back at the years gone by with no regrets.
The inner warmth shields me…
It lets me see the picture clearly-
Birds fly freely, flowers bloom over the sun-sweet-filled plains
While the gentle waves of the seas softly reach the shore
Now, it becomes even more clear- serenity, this is how life should be.
